Guide to Spa

We kindly ask that these rules are adhered to at all times in order to ensure the safety of members, visitors and the team that are here to look after you. Please do not hesitate to bring any concerns to our attention.

1. Spa Access

- You must either be a member, a hotel resident, have a table booked in Botanica, Ridgeview Beauty Bar appointment or a pre-booked spa day

- From Thursday 24th September, government guidelines state it is mandatory for all guests and staff to wear masks in all hotel and spa public areas, excluding outside areas, pools, gym and when you are enjoying food and drink with us. Please note we have been asked by the government not to challenge those not wearing masks due to health reasons and there are some exclusions for our staff in non-public areas

- You must not be in self-isolation or be required to self-isolate

- You must not be displaying COVID-19 symptoms

- You must not have returned from outside the UK in the last 14 days from a listed non-airbridge country

2. Booking & Arrival

- Booking a treatment, gym slot or class in advance is compulsory. Contact our reservations team or speak with a member of staff on arrival to book

- The spa will be operating as a cashless environment therefore payment is by card prior to arrival or on the day

- If you need to cancel your appointment due to Covid-19 please contact us with as much notice as possible and we can reschedule it for you

- Parking will be available in the main car park only, no valet parking or use of the turning circle – please practice physical distancing when parking your vehicle

- All members, their guests, residents and spa day visitors will be made aware of our measures prior to their visit through the online confirmation emails

- Observe physical distancing always and resist the temptation to mingle

- Changing facilities will be available and would ask residents to use their rooms and members using the gym or classes come dressed and ready to go where possible

- Toilet facilities will be open and cleaned a at regular intervals

- Sanitising stations will be available throughout the spa; for access, throughout your visit and before your treatment you will be asked to complete a handwashing ritual with your therapist

3. Check-in

- On arrival, please scan the NHS QR code using the NHS Track and Trace app. This can be completed by one lead member of the group who will be responsible for the whole party (maximum of 6). We will have written forms too if you do not have a mobile device or do not wish to download the NHS Track and Trace app. 

- Mandatory check in at the spa reception for all members, their guests and residents. The spa is open from 6am-10pm (midweek) and 7am-9pm (weekends)

- Mandatory temperature checks will be taken on arrival via a state of the art retinal scanner. In the event the scanner displays two positive results for a high temperature members, guests and residents will be asked to leave immediately and recommended to self isolate and contact NHS 111 

- While waiting to be served at the spa reception, a 1 metre + distance should be followed. There will be clear guidance in the reception areas. Please remain outside of this zone unless being served

- Spa retail items will be available to purchase from the retail areas within the spa, please be aware that there will be no testers available

- Towels and robes and flipflops will be available

4. Spa Facilities

- The Spa is open with the gym, all pools, the sauna, steam rooms and mud room fully accessible with limited numbers.

- For all areas of spa there will be clear guidelines on property with regards to capacities, time restrictions and cleaning regimes where appropriate. We would ask these guidelines are followed at all times

- It is mandatory for all guests to wear a face mask around all spa public areas, excluding outside areas, pools, gym and when you are enjoying food and drink with us

5. Current Available Treatments

- Sanitising stations will be available throughout the spa; before your treatment you will be asked to complete a handwashing ritual with your therapist

- For all treatments, the therapists will be wearing a mask and a visor

- During all treatments other than facials, it is mandatory to wear a face mask 

- We will ensure in accordance with social distancing that there is a 1m+ space between you and the next guest having a treatment

6. Getting Home Safely

- Post-treatment, visitors should sanitise or wash their hands and head home. Any conversations should be limited and with social distancing strictly maintained (groups of six can meet outside whilst social distancing and following the 1 metre + rule)

- A staff member will be on-site at the spa until 9pm
