The Hotel
What key safety measure do I need to know about? Will I have to wear a mask?

In line with government guidelines, guests are required to wear a face mask when moving around the hotel and in public areas, unless you are enjoying food and drink

There are mandatory tasks where our team members are required to wear masks, however, where guidelines do not apply, wearing a mask is left to their personal discretion

Please demonstrate physical distancing to keep yourselves, fellow guests and our team as safe as possible

We respectfully ask guests to follow the guidance on the signs located around the hotel and spa

Please note our team members are not able to police government guidelines, so please be considerate to others at all times during your stay

What time is check-in and check-out?

We invite all guests to check in from 3pm and ask that you have checked out of your room by 11am

If you arrive before your room is ready, or want to use the extra spa time you have after check-out, we do ask you store your luggage in your car if possible to minimise contact with your belongings

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, it's free of charge, unless you have booked a special rate, until 48 hours before arrival, after this time the full charge applies

Our Open Term rate is non-refundable, but can be transferred to a different date within a year's period, when giving 7 days notice

All other special rates cannot be cancelled or transferred, so please check the rate details when booking

Bringing children aged 0-12 years?

We have cots available for free and z-beds for children for £25 per night, per child, including breakfast. Call us to check availability and capacity for your preferred room type

The spa is mainly an adult only environment but children can use the indoor pool and outdoor swim pond in dedicated splash times, click here for more details

Can I bring my dog?

We have a selection dog-friendly rooms you can pick from and for £50 per stay, your furry friend can stay and we'll equip your room with a dog bed, bowl and some doggie treats! 

Dogs are welcome in the bar and lounge but if they are having a bit of a funny five minutes or causing upset our other guests, we will kindly ask if you can relocate to another area - don't worry there's plenty of grounds for them to enjoy!

Is there free WiFi?

We offer complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel

Which train station is closest?

The nearest station is Horsham Train Station, 5 miles or 10 minutes away. You will be able to take a taxi to South Lodge from the taxi rank at the station

What is accessibility like at the hotel?

We love to welcome all our guests and strive to ensure the whole hotel is accessible to everybody 

Our public areas are accessible for wheelchair users, with the exception of The Cellar. A fridge can be requested for storing medications in bedrooms

Several of our rooms and suites are accessible for wheelchair users and have emergency pull cords, handrails, accessible showers and low level basins

7am - 10am, Monday to Friday

7.30am - 10.30am, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

Brunch in the Botanica restaurant

8am - 11.45am Daily

Or feel free to order breakfast to your room or suite

We are currently asking for a breakfast / brunch time to be booked in advance to allow for safe, distanced dining at a time that suits you. Our reservations team will be in touch prior to arrival

What are Camellia restaurant's opening hours?

Lunch
Sunday: 12.30pm - with tables last seated at 2pm

Dinner
Monday to Thursday: 6.30pm with tables last seated at 8pm
Friday to Sunday: 6pm with tables last seated at 8pm

The Camellia will close at 10pm in line with government guidelines

What are The Pass restaurant's opening hours?

The Pass is currently closed until further notice

What are Botanica restaurant's opening hours?

Monday to Thursday 8am - 8pm
Friday to Sunday 8am - 8.30pm

How long is my table booking in Botanica?

You will have 90 minutes to relax and enjoy the delicious dishes and drinks from our Botanica team.

What time do you serve afternoon tea?

We serve afternoon tea from 1.30pm to 4pm every day of the week. Advance booking is highly recommended

Do you offer room service?

Yes, we offer 24 hour room service. Please refer to the room service menu on the tablet in your room

What are the spa opening times and when can I have access?

OPENING TIMES
Monday - Friday 6am - 9pm
Saturday and Sunday 7am - 9pm
Whilst the spa is primarily an adult only environment to keep a calm and relaxed atmosphere, we do have dedicated splash times when children under 16 years are allowed in the indoor swimming pool and outdoor swim pond (not the hydrotherapy pool, or thermal area)

SPA ACCESS FOR HOTEL RESIDENTS
Bookings made directly with us;
Access to the spa is from 3pm on the day of arrival, until 2pm on the day of departure. If you are splashing out on one of our special room categories, you will enjoy even further extended spa access, take a look at the room details for more information
Bookings not made directly with us (via online travel agents);
Access to the spa is restricted from 3pm on the day of arrival, until 12pm on the day of departure


SPA DAY ACCESS 
All spa day packages have spa access from 9am until closing, unless the package is an afternoon spa day where it specifies access hours in the description before purchase.

What spa facilities are currently available?

All of the spa facilities are currently available.


Can I visit the gym and attend fitness classes?

You are welcome to use the gym and enjoy our fitness classes free of charge during your stay. You can also book a personal trainer service for your stay too

For a session in the gym, one of our fitness classes or to book a personal trainer, you will need to book 72 hours in advance of your stay as we have a limited availability to keep as safe an environment a possible

Can I enjoy a spa treatment during my stay?

We all love a relaxing treatment and that's why we can get pretty booked up! We recommend booking in advance but if you have left it until you arrive, head to reception and we'll see if we can fit you in.

Is there a service charge for treatments?

There is a 7.5% service charge for all treatments, unless you have purchased a spa day or break package fro us, in which case the service charge is already included.

Can I get some refreshments by the outdoor wild swimming pool?

Yes, The Watershed bar provides a refreshing range of drinks and gelato beside our wild swimming pool
