Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handcrafted by a single Master Bootmaker, or ‘Maître Bottier’ as we call them. It’s the method we’ve used to make boots of exceptional comfort, quality and durability since 1927, and one that uses skills we believe no machine can ever match. We’ve always been at the forefront of technological innovation, from being the first bootmakers to perfect a zip on a rubber boot to developing our own Chamolux rubber, that’s both remarkably supple and has the strength and durability to last you for years to come. The result is a stylish, handmade rubber boot that’s outstanding in its field - or any field, for that matter.

Our water is untouched at source producing water of unrivalled quality and taste. South Downs Water is naturally filtered through deep chalk layers giving us a delicious fresh water with a truly exceptional taste.
